Contest Rules:

  1. Original Work Only
All designs must be entirely original and free of copyrighted material. All designs must be created by the artist themselves. While digital tools are welcome, AI-generated images or artwork created primarily by AI are not allowed. We want to see your creativity shine through!

  2. Permission to Modify
By submitting a design, the artist grants GBBO permission to make minor modifications as needed for printing and/or fit on a T-shirt.

  3. Accepted Formats
Designs may be hand-drawn or computer-generated.

  4. Design Size
The design may be any size but will be scaled to fit the front of a standard T-shirt.

  5. Content Restrictions
No explicit content will be accepted, including vulgar language or obscene imagery.

  6. Submission Limit
Only one design per participant may be submitted.

  7. No Team Names
Team names may not be mentioned or displayed in the artwork. These T-shirts represent the entire Bird-a-thon, not individual teams.

  8. Color Considerations
While there are no strict limitations on color use, artists should note that designs with fewer colors are easier and more cost-effective to print.

Nevada Birds Requirement

All artwork must feature bird species found in Nevada. Artists are encouraged to be creative and highlight the bird or birds they feel best represent Nevada—whether desert dwellers, mountain birds, wetland species and waterfowl, or even familiar backyard visitors.

Need inspiration?

This list is just for inspiration, and you’re welcome to choose any bird species that occurs in Nevada!

Artist Credit & Usage Disclaimer
