“Please join the Lahontan Audubon Society for a special Halloween costume community bird walk at Virginia Lake! Binoculars will be provided, but please BYOC (bring your own costume!). The lake hosts a number of waterfowl and songbirds, such as duck species, mergansers, geese, grebes, coots, sparrows, and chickadees, finches, and more! We will do our best not to spook the birds with our costumes! This walk is open to people of all identities and all levels of birding (beginner, advanced etc.).”
