Special MEMBERS ONLY field trip! (Price $75) Our friends at the Mono Lake Committee, who are dedicated to preserving this beautiful desert lake, are hosting a special field trip for Lahontan Audubon Society (now Northwest Nevada Bird Alliance) members. This is an overnight weekend trip with a bird walk in the early afternoon on Saturday October 18 and a bird walk in the morning of Sunday October 19. Come explore the colors of fall on one of our most scenic lakes, while learning about the local birds and conservation efforts. Proceeds from this special field trip support bird conservation by the Mono Lake Committee and Northwest Nevada Bird Alliance. Please contact our Field Trips Chair, Katie Smith, at katie.smith@nevadaaudubon.org, if you have questions or would like suggestions on local places to stay or camp overnight. Participants on this field trip are required to arrange for their own travel and lodging. All payments are final and there are no refunds for cancellations on the participant's part. We will contact you about refunds if we need to cancel the trip.

The meeting location and time for Saturday, October 18 are provided with registration and payment. The Mono Lake Committee field trip leader, Ryan Garrett, Education Director for the Mono Lake Committee will advise you of the meetup location and time for the Sunday, October 19 bird walk. This bird walk is limited to 14 registrants.
