Inspired by REI’s #OptOutside initiative, Great Basin Bird Observatory is continuing the tradition of shopping for bird sightings instead of shopping in stores on Black Friday!

Meet GBBO’s Ned Bohman at Rancho San Rafael, then stay as long as you’d like as we pick and choose our way around the Reno area. We may visit Oxbow Nature Study Area, Virginia Lake, Sparks Marina, Paradise Park, and wherever else the birds take us!

We’ll share our location on social media throughout the morning, so feel free to join us at any point along the way. Come for one stop or spend the whole morning birding with us!
