This is the 126th annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count (CBC) and the 38thyear for the Elko/Spring Creek CBC. Over those 37 years, bird watchers participating in the Elko/Spring Creek count have seen a total of 145 different species.

The Elko/Spring Creek CBC will be held on Saturday, December 20th. If you are interested in participating in the count, contact Lois Ports at 775-753-2569 or lports54@ gmail.com. Once you have signed up to participate, she will send you an email detailing where you will be birding and all the directions. She makes every effort to partner new participants with an experienced CBC birder.  Please let her know your level of ability.
