Join us for a Welcome Reception—WFO and GBBO invite you to a welcoming reception with hors d'oeurves and cash bar on Thursday evening at the Whitney Peak Hotel in downtown Reno. Come and meet old and new birding friends. At 7pm, GBBO’s talented staff will be giving an update on the current and future status of bird conservation in the Great Basin and beyond. Meet this year's scholarship recipients. Rub elbows with our hard working volunteer field trip leaders. Mingle with the board of directors. It's time to eat, drink and celebrate together. There is a suggested donation of $20 to cover the costs of food and the venue. You will also be able to donate at the door if you wish. Advanced registration is required, however.
