The Nevada Bird-a-thon is a statewide fundraising challenge combining friendly competition and birding, from Big Days to yard lists, to support bird conservation across Nevada. Modeled after a walk-a-thon, participants collect donations for their birding efforts while aiming to record the most species and raise the most funds.

Our goal this year is $15,000

Your support will help to:

• Engage Nevada residents and visitors in community science, outreach, and education

• Support research programs including landbird assessments, Pinyon Jay studies, and desert thrasher research

• Strengthen GBBO’s role in collaborative conservation initiatives, including the Desert Thrasher and Pinyon Jay Working Groups
