Up towards the transition between the Mojave Desert and the Great Basin, MJS-1285 supports a relatively diverse Mojave scrub transect … though Black-throated Sparrows are still the dominant species!  Thanks to donors, this site was surveyed in 2024 for the first time since 2006.
