It's time again to count winter raptors of Nevada. This effort is coordinated by the Nevada Department of Wildlife's Mackenzie Jeffress, and it requires solid raptor ID skills, a GPS, a backroad-ready vehicle, and experience in negotiating remote winter roads. If this is your first time on the survey, it's probably best to ride with someone the first time. A map of available routes and contact information are available here.
