High in the Spring Mountains, this conifer transect supported a rich bird community, including 9 conservation priorities, such as Band-tailed Pigeon, Gray Vireo & Grace's Warbler. Most abundant were Cassin's Finch, Chipping Sparrow, & Mountain Chickadee.
